Sun Crown Earrings

Hand carved, cast, and finished in reclaimed 925 silver gold vermeil. The design is a reinterpretation of decorative buttons from the animistic Tausug people of the southern Philippine islands that strive to live in harmony with the sea. Our direct contact with the Tausug ensures that inspiration from their decorative buttons has been adopted with their permission. The earrings' crown-like shape are a symbolic reminder of the elegant and timeless power of the island sun.
